SHE may be having cancer treatment on the other side of the world, but Kylie Minogue has once again shown her thoughts are never very far from home.
Still upset at being forced to postpone the Australian leg of her tour after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May, the singer has requested her Showgirl tour be televised here.
"Kylie felt strongly that she wanted her fans to see at least part of the show," Frontier Touring managing director Michael Gudinski said.
"Even though the tour has been postponed and is yet to be rescheduled, she really felt that the fans deserved to see the full extent of it all.
"She was pretty insistent that it go on TV and I think for her to feel that strongly just shows what she's like and that she really has a very strong loyalty to fans."
Minogue personally selected what songs would be included in the one-hour highlighted version of the concert, which will screen on Channel Ten on Sunday night.
"Kylie is very involved with everything," Gudinski confirmed yesterday.
