Kylie denies 'desperate' reports

Kylie Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer in May
Kylie Minogue's managers have denied reports of "dramatic weight loss and desperate searches for alternative therapy" as she battles breast cancer.
A statement assured fans the singer was "in good spirits and is as healthy as can be expected" and hit out at "the wealth of rumours to the contrary".

She is still having her treatment regime in Paris, it said.

Press reports have claimed her weight has dropped to six stone and she plans to see a "holistic medicine guru".

'Misguided'

But she did not want fellow cancer sufferers "to be misguided by the false stories regarding her condition and her choice of doctors", the statement from her record company said.

The Australian star, 37, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May and had surgery in her home country before moving to Paris.

Several UK newspapers have reported that she is to visit London-based alternative medicine specialist Nish Joshi.

Dr Joshi wrote a book called Holistic Detox and has reportedly treated stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ralph Fiennes, Patsy Kensit and Kate Moss.

He was said to have performed the "cupping" treatment, a kind of acupuncture, that famously left circular marks on Paltrow's skin.
