Kylie Minogue's stylist and close friend William Baker has advised the sexy singer to ditch her pop career and retire.

Baker, the man behind Minogue's legendary gold hotpants, is convinced her spectacular Greatest Hits tour is a sign she will soon retire from the limelight.

The I Believe In You star, 36, herself has confessed to her urge to start a family, and friends are concerned the hard-working singer should make more time for herself.

Baker says: "She needs to do things on her own, get away from me, get away from her safety zone.

"Whether that's to have a family, take up painting, do a film… she needs to do something for herself rather than keep the juggernaut rolling. It does feel like the end of an era."
