Kylie's fame too high a price for her man

KYLIE Minogue has admitted her high profile has strained her relationship with French actor Olivier Martinez.

But she does not think they have a serious problem.
Minogue, 36, left Australia early Friday after launching a hosiery line as part of her Love Kylie lingerie range.

The launch was overshadowed by rumours there were problems in her relationship with Martinez -- which were denied.

But Minogue has admitted that constant pressure from the paparazzi hurt her relationship with Martinez.

In the cover story of next month's Harpers' Bazaar, for which she posed as a 70s' diva, she said: "Basically, since I've met Ollie (her pet name for Martinez), I've decided to make some changes. Make sure there's time for us.

"Those magazine articles about me, be they true or absolutely fabricated, it's something I've had to get used to.

"But I don't think Ollie will ever get used to it. His life has been very different. He's been in incredible movies and worked with great directors and is very high-profile in that way, but this is all very different."

Then again, she says: "It's hard even for my best friends -- photographers following us down the street and people asking questions. The friends hardly get a word in."

Minogue's new look was created by Minogue with her personal stylist William Baker -- whom she describes as "my creative director, best friend and gay husband" -- and photographer Tesh.

Baker has been credited as the man who created her "best butt in the world" reputation. Minogue says her famous body is built without a strict exercise regime, preferring "everything in moderation. I have fitness in fits and bursts, mainly when I'm touring".

Pictures published in Britain showed Martinez, 38, dancing aboard a yacht in St Tropez with scantily clad actress Michelle Rodriguez.

A spokesperson for Minogue said she had not been worried by the reports.
