PREPARE for gridlock as the Hilton sisters bring South Yarra to a standstill tonight.

Greville St was buzzing with anticipation late last night for the long-awaited reunion between Paris Hilton and Australian Idol's Robert 'Millsy' Mills.

Paris, who arrived from the Gold Coast last night and sister Nicky were due to head straight to the back bar of Darren Thornbergh's Boutique Nightclub in Prahran.

There, they were expected to join hand-picked guests including Mills, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Nick Giannopoulos, Mick Molloy, the Daves Hughes and O'Neil and Kate Langbroek.

The casts of Stingers and Neighbours were also invited to join fashion designer Bettina Liano for the party, due to start at midnight.

The other purpose for the Hilton sisters' visit to Melbourne is to star in a Sportsgirl commercial to be filmed at the label's store in Chapel St, South Yarra, this evening.

Production company, Dare, which makes Sportsgirl's ads, said they were counting on a huge public turn-up to the filming, which starts at 6pm.

'Paris and Nicky will be making quite amazing entrances,' one of the commercial's producers said.

'We asked them to be in the ad because they shop quite regularly at Sportsgirl shops on the Gold Coast and Melbourne. They love the clothes. So we took advantage of them being in the country.'

Last week it was understood Paris would come to Melbourne with her boyfriend, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. But apparently the long-distance lovers have had another tiff -- and Nicky agreed to fly from New York to accompany her sister.

This freed up the ever-observant Thornbergh to invite Millsy at the 11th hour. Last time Paris was at Boutique, she still hadn't met Mills and was asking to be photographed with Collingwood forward Chris Tarrant and gave her number to former Geelong player Marcus Baldwin.

She met Millsy in Sydney two days later, so the infatuations with the footballers were short-lived.

Up until Friday afternoon, the good people at Dare were still re-writing the scripts for Paris and Nicky's Sportsgirl commercial, to appear on-line next month.

After today's filming, Paris is heading back for a final week of work on the horror film, The House of Wax while Nicky flies home to New York.
