Kylie: I wish I'd got married

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she regrets she did not marry in her early twenties.
The 35-year-old star, speaking frankly to Michael Parkinson, believes she has lost her chance to achieve the same sort of relationship that her parents enjoy.
Asked if she would like to marry her boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez, Kylie said: "For quite a number of years I've looked at my parents.
"They are still together, still in love, they miss each other madly, they hold hands and canoodle. They're the best example for me.
"It slightly pains me to think I will never have that, my chance has already gone. Because I'm 35. They did that when they were 22."
However, she said she would still like "something secure and wonderful". She added in the interview, shown on Saturday night: "When girlfriends are in serious relationships, married with children, I say 'that must be great', but until I experience that myself I won't know. I know it will be the best thing I've ever done."
Asked if she was a little old to be considering children, she said: "It's not too late, but obviously a woman my age can't help but think about those things. I'm asked about it all the time. And I never have a straight answer."
Kylie said having a French boyfriend made quite mundane things suddenly seem quite "exotic, amusing or frustrating", adding: "I couldn't possibly say that the French are better or worse, but he is wonderful."
