The Kylie Minogue Mailing List from LiMBO @ www.kylie.co.uk

Hi everyone,

Well what can I say about seeing in the New Year with Kylie - never thought we would get the opportunity but boy was it worth it!!! The standing ovation she got when she first came on the stage lasted for ages, she got quite teary at one point but managed to carry on. I'm not embarrassed to admit I too shed a tear - it was just amazing to see her back where she belongs so soon after what she's been through. Her stamina through the whole show is astounding but what is the best thing to see is the real enjoyment she shows. She definitely talks more to the audience especially at the end before the last two songs which is lovely & really takes note of what the audience are wearing & saying.

The last 5 mins of the year came up on the screen whilst we all sang Especially for You with her and then we counted down the last 10 seconds. After Kylie shouted Happy New Year she quickly ran off the stage but was back on within seconds. I believe she went to give Olivier a hug but who knows!! She ran back on the stage & said 'Now it's time for a kiss' and promptly started singing Celebration which is when the roof went off the building. The crowd & Kylie just went mad!! It was such a brilliant atmosphere to experience. She then sang her last song 'Love at First Sight' and finally left the stage at 12.15am.

Saw Kylie last night again and had much better seats this time - 7 rows from the front!!! Again she got an amazing reaction when she first appeared, someone shouted something which made her teary, so she did a quick walk in a circle to compose herself. Seeing the costumes up closer they were all amazing. Didn't really like the gold outfit or the black one but up close they looked great. She even joked about having a crow on her head - she must have been boiling!! It's great to hear her talk more inbetween songs, so relaxed & confident in herself - she is just AMAZING!!!

Having seen the show twice I really enjoyed it more the second time. The only criticsim I would have is she sings too many songs from the Impossible Princess era. Being a fan I know all the songs but some people don't know her that well & only know the hits, so at one point there is a lull in the crowd & it doesn't come alive until she sings I Believe In You in the second act. I just wish she could have sung a couple more of the oldies - especially my favourite 'Wouldn't Change A Thing'.
Last night someone asked her to sing Got to be Certain & generally she just sings a few words but this time the band joined in & she sang most of the song. Everyone went wild!!! She also talked a lot especially to some of the kids in the audience which was lovely - one little girl got so shy she ran away!!

The fact Kylie comes on the stage at 8.15pm & the show doesn't finish till 11.00pm is to be commended. Even with the 20min break, she is still on the stage for a long time - something I didn't think would happen with her needing to take it easier, well done Kylie!!!

Anyone going tonight have a great time - I can't wait to see her on Friday & then Tuesday next week!!

I hope I haven't bored you all with the lengthy email (I could talk for hours about Kylie!!!).

Take care

Beth xx"

Thank you Beth!!!!
