Kylie Minogue's comeback
Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, there have been many dark months for Kylie Minogue. Following surgery, and five traumatic months of aggressive chemotherapy, the most recent blow came in November when her medical team recommended that she not take the trip home to spend the festive season with family.
Having faced her misfortune, Kylie has now finished her treatment. While specifics regarding her condition are still sketchy, it appears as though Australia's pop princess has turned her toughest corner and is rallying for a comeback.
Photographed shopping recently in London, the 37-year-old diva's special diet has her looking almost as rosy and glamorous as ever.
Minogue has already returned to work, recently recording a voiceover for a US version of The Magic Roundabout, and her next step is an ambitious new album, tentatively slated to start production in 2006.
She is also rumoured to be keeping a daily journal of her ordeal, which she plans to publish. Such a diary could provide inspiration for cancer sufferers and save lives through increased awareness.

Kylie scores Grammy nomination
December 09, 2005
AUSTRALIA'S pop princess Kylie Minogue has had some good news at the end of a traumatic year - she's been nominated for another prestigious Grammy award.
Minogue won her first Grammy last year for best dance song Come Into My World.
She has been nominated this year for I Believe In You in the same category.
In May this year, Minogue, 37, was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery in Melbourne. She is now recovering in France where she is living with her boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez.
The illness forced Minogue to postpone the Australian leg of her tour, Kylie's Showgirl: The Greatest Hits. But she is now expected to stage the show at the end of next year.
Meanwhile, Australia's hottest country export - and rumoured fiance of Nicole Kidman - Keith Urban has been nominated for another award.
He's up for the Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for his song, You'll Think Of Me.
Urban has won several major country music awards in the US this year, including the prestigious Country Music Award's male vocalist of the year last month.
Urban, who won the Horizon Award in 2001, recently released his third album, Be Here, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart.
The nominations for the 48th Grammy Awards were announced in New York today and the winners will be announced at ceremony in Los Angeles on February 8 next year.
