Pop-singer Kylie Minogue has flown from London back to her native Australia to mark the launch of her Love Kylie hosiery range. The venue for the presentation bash was a French restaurant of city Syracuse, chosen for its intimate interior.
To the disappointment of her guests, Kylie, who, according to recent polls, in the No.1 sexual fantasy of Australian males, didn’t model her collection herself. Instead, she invited some of the best Australian models to present her new LK Legs range, as romantic and seductive, as ever. The singer appeared wearing high-heels and a black tweed suit designed by Karl Lagerfeld.
"Kylie sees the move into stockings as a natural progression from lingerie. She's also in negotiations to get her products into Paris's biggest shops," said the singer’s friend.

MUSIC by Kylie Minogue is among the list of CDs that insurance frauds most likely lie about owning, a company specialising in detecting insurance fraud claims.
Absolute Customer Management uses psychology to detect fraudulent insurance claims. It said insurance companies knew motorists often inflated the value of their claims for stolen cars by making up possessions they said were in the vehicle. It said one of the most common things people claimed to have lost was a non-existent CD collection.
But the group has identified the six CDs that are most commonly made up by dishonest claimants.
These are albums by Kylie Minogue, Westlife, Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams, as well as a Best of the '80s CD, and the latest dance compilations. "

The Top Of The Pops website is today building on recent rumours and reporting that Kylie is indeed ready to quit her career to concentrate on "a normal life", following a final Greatest Hits album and tour. This coincides with reported listings for a new Greatest Hits album in November, the hilariously titled Can't Get My Hits Out Of Your Head. Having been spending an increasing amount of time away from the spotlight with boyfriend Olivier Martinez, and shying away from her usual slog of promotion, could we be about to see the last of Kylie Minogue, Popstar? Please Kylie, set the record straight! ... Plus new BMG 'budget compilation' released in September.

Could Kylie be about to call in quits for a quiet life with loverman Olivier Martinez? That's what the News of the World claims this weekend. Apparently the pouty, perfectly-proportioned princess of pop has been telling pals that she's all set to throw in the towel.
The tab quotes a source thus: "Kylie has decided to make Olivier her number one priority - and that means giving up her job. She's been thinking about the right time to quit and has decided now is it."

Kylie Minogue was left dumbfounded when her generous actor beau Olivier Martinez presented her with her dream gift - a $324,000 (€262,000) boat.
The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head star fell in love with a vintage yacht called White Wings - which is moored in St Tropez harbour in the south of France - and was stunned when Martinez registered the highest bid for it at an auction.
The sexy couple now plan to use the boat for romantic cruises on the Mediterranean Sea, and pals are convinced Martinez's extravagant purchase is a clear sign they're destined to marry.
One friend says: "They have been down the Riviera looking at various yachts but this was the one Kylie set her heart on. Olivier bought it to make her happy.
"It is a big commitment by Olivier to splash out like this. It is a sign of the couple's deep love. Don't be surprised if they end up getting married on the boat."

The pint-sized pop princess has topped a poll to find the celebrity with the world's most perfect pins.
She may only be 5ft tall but the singer beat long-limbed beauties Cameron Diaz and Nicole Kidman to the title.
Shrek star Diaz came second and Hell's Kitchen winner Jennifer Ellison was third.
The survey also asked people to name the male celebrity with the best legs, with David Beckham coming out top after the England captain showed off his perfect physique at Euro 2004.

POP superstar Kylie Minogue and her family have amassed a secret Melbourne property portfolio worth $12 million.
The jewel in the Minogue real estate crown is a two-storey mansion in prestigious Monomeath Ave, Canterbury, where Kylie's parents, Ron and Carol, have set up home.
The 1940s house with tennis court and heated swimming pool is estimated to be worth $6 million, according to real estate sources.
They paid a mere $2.43 million two years ago, but their fortunes have improved with substantial growth in the leafy suburb.
Minogue, her parents, sister Dannii and brother Brendan, have built a solid real estate portfolio in the eastern suburbs where the singer went to school.
Titles Office records show they own 15 properties in Canterbury, Armadale and Richmond - with only one deviation from the eastern suburbs.
The family also owns a house in Don Valley, near Launching Place, 23km from the snowfields of Mt Donna Buang.
"They have a brilliant property portfolio," an agent, who did not wish to be named, said.
"Kylie and her family have bought in the dress circle of Melbourne real estate."
He said many of the properties were historic and popular with tenants, while shops, such as the two the family owns in Maling Rd, Canterbury, showed astute commercial judgment.
The Minogue empire is selling one its holdings - an ultra-modern two-bedroom residence in Abinger St, Richmond.
The property is believed to have been used as a residence for Ms Minogue's grandmother until recently.
"Abinger St is a top street close to everything and should sell for around $500,000," a property expert, who did not wish to be named, said.
Property titles searches showed the Minogues own a single-fronted timber house in Murray St, Richmond. "Murray St is a small, quiet street where a cute cottage would be worth around $450,000," an agent said.
In her own name, the pop queen owns a Victorian weatherboard property in Cambridge St, Armadale. It is one of the few streets in Melbourne with a heritage listing that protects the streetscape, adding value to a price tag of about $600,000.
A unit in Canterbury Rd, Canterbury added a further $450,000 to the Minogue coffers.
Kylie and Dannii have been seen over the years sipping coffee in Maling Rd, Canterbury.
A family company owns six units at Theatre Place, off Maling Rd, above shops. Real estate agents say each would be worth about $300,000, or $1.8 million for the set.
In Maling Rd, another family company owns two shops worth about $800,000 each.
Another agent said the Monomeath Ave property was the key to the family's property wealth.
"We are talking about three-quarters of an acre in one of the most prestigious streets in Melbourne - I would say it was close to $6 million," the agent said.
